Why Poland

Poland is the ideal location for a Stag Weekend:

  • Variety:
Poland is unique as an Eastern European Stag Destination in that it has more than one destination city of note. We offer Stag Packages and Activities in Krakow, Wroclaw and Warsaw; three outstanding Stag Weekend destinations in their own right.
  • Accessibility: Poland has the most extensively developed network of budget airline connections from the UK, with flights to at least one of our destination cities from the majority of UK and Irish international airports.
  • Night-Life: Unrivalled selection of pubs, bars and clubs. Old Towns in Poland top Europe’s league table in terms of the concentration of night-life venues around the Market Square.
  • Value for Money: Food, alcohol and entertainment all cost between 25% - 50% less than in the UK.

Three unique locations to choose from:

Krakow

Krakow

Krakow has proved a huge hit since it began to entertain Stag Weekends around 2 years ago. Regarded by most as the most beautiful city in Poland, it is the venue for PolVenture clients who prefer their action-packed weekend to take place in historically stunning surroundings.

The Old Square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the city boasts a wealth of unique buildings and artefacts, including Wawel Castle, the historical centre of the country, and the Jagiellonian University, whose former students include Copernicus and Poland’s Pope, John Paul II. Krakow was named as one of the nine European Cities of Culture in 2000.

Krakow is also Poland’s student capital and it is the 100,000 students who fire up the night-life that takes place in the unique and atmospheric night-clubs and bars housed in underground cellars.

Warsaw

Warsaw

The Capital City of Poland is also the country’s growing metropolis. Warsaw is the destination suggested for the clients who prefer a more modern and ‘chique’ environment to enjoy their party weekend.

Warsaw offers the foreign visitor all that can be expected from a major European metropolis. Towering skyscrapers play host to leading international corporations during the day, while exclusive hotels and restaurants entertain the foreign traveler at night.

Warsaw's fantastic nightlife revolves around new and elite nightclubs as well as mysterious underground venues. As opposed to other Eastern European cities, the night-life is not focused on the Old Market Square which is a peaceful and quiet place. The fun is to be had in the busy Entertainment Quarter that has grown around the major commercial and business areas of the city.

Wroclaw

Wroclaw

PolVenture’s newest destination, Wroclaw has become a party destination of note since Ryanair set up its Eastern European hub at the city’s airport. But it is much more than accessibility that has brought the city to tourist’s attention. The city has been at the heart of a debate about which Old Town is more esthetically pleasant; Wroclaw’s or Krakow’s.

Wroclaw is known as ‘Poland's Venice' due to it’s setting on the Oder river and the 100 or so bridges that cross the river within City Limits. The Market Square is far smaller than those found in the centres of it’s’ more famous neighbours, Krakow and Prague, yet it is equally stunning.

If you have partied in either of the above, you will know the joys of pubs and clubs in underground venues, and Wroclaw has plenty of these. Hailed as the party capital of Poland, it has enough pubs and clubs to cater for a city twice its size. This may be explained by the fact it is the destination for many weekend getaways not only for foreign guests but also for Poles from other parts of the country. This mix of people from different parts of both Europe and Poland all in Wroclaw to enjoy themselves creates a unique atmosphere in the city.
