In July 2005, Hubert Bienias set about creating a unique UK to Poland travel service, fully utilising on the combined experiences of his English up-bringing and Polish heritage.
From those humble beginnings and PolVenture’s first guests welcomed in Warsaw in January 2006, the company has become the leading operator of Stag and Activity Weekends in Poland, and is the only UK or Polish company to have Stag Weekend operations in three cities in Poland.
Over 5.000 people have now enjoyed the Polventure experience in Krakow, Warsaw and Wroclaw.
Polventure operates in accordance with the UK and EU Travel Package Regulations by protecting funds which we hold on behalf of clients by way of a trust account. The trustee of the Polventure Trust Account is the well respected chartered accountancy firm, Elman Wall (www.elmanwall.co.uk). Elman Wall are approved industry partners to ABTA; the Association of British Travel Agents.
PolVenture is a member of the Poland Travel and Business Group and is endorsed by the Polish National Tourist Board in London.
Hubert Bienias
Managing DirectorHubert, PolVenture’s MD and founder, was born and raised in the UK. He grew up in London, graduated from Nottingham University, worked in both the European Parliament in Brussels and London’s City before opening Polventure. Hubert is also the founder of a leading medical travel service to Poland; PolMedical and the co-founder of Poland’s first activity gift company. Daria Jakóbiec
Tour ManagerDaria grew up in Krakow where, in 2006, she welcomed PolVenture’s very first group in her native city. With her passion and energy she quickly rose up the ranks, from Head Krakow Rep to her current role as Tour Manager. Sitting in our Krakow HQ, Daria is responsible for the co-ordination of all the groups that are with us in Poland at any one time. When she does have some free time, Daria enjoys nothing more than spending time with her horses.
Dagmara Wilkosz
Office ManagerDagmara joined Polventure in 2008 and works in our Krakow HQ. She is responisible for all administrative and accounting issues. Dagmara works closely with Daria to ensure all our groups have all the information they need before they actually arrive in Poland, at which point our reps take over. Dagmara grew up in Krakow, spending much of her free time trekking in the nearby Tatra mountain range.
Joanna
Head Krakow RepJoanna (Asia for short) is Polventure’s longest serving Krakow rep. An Animal Breeding and Biology Student at Krakow’s Agricultural Academy.
Kasia
Having joined the team in 2007, Kasia has quickly found her feet and is now at the heart of Polventure’s Krakow operation. Kasia studies Tourism and Recreation at Krakow’s Academy of Physical Education.
Marta
Having joined the Krakow team in early 2007, Marta quickly found her feet and became a key member of our team in the most busy of Polventure destinations. She is a HR and Management student at Krakow’s Jagiellonian University.
Michalina
Sociology student Linka is the latest recruit in Krakow after being recommded by...her sister Kasia! Linka has quickly proved herself a very capable member of the ever-busy Krakow team.
Malgosia
Head Warsaw RepMalgosia ("Gosia" for short), is the most experienced current PolVenture Rep, having joined in early 2006. Gosia is in the final year of a Tourism and Recreation degree at Warsaw Academy of Physical Education.
Kamila
Kamila also joined Polventure back in 2006 and has been a Warsaw stalwart since then. Kamila is also a final year student at the Warsaw Academy of Physical Education, together with Gosia.
Karolina
The newest addition to the Warsaw team, Karolina is a first year student, reading International Relations at Warsaw’s School of Sociology.
Hania
Hania joined the PolVenture team in 2007 to bolster PolVenture’s Wroclaw team following growing interest in PolVenture’s newest destination. Hania studies Russian Philology at Wroclaw University.
Kasia
Kasia is the newest addition to our Wroclaw team but already a favourite amongst our summer Wroclaw stags. She studies Management and Computer Science with Slavonic Philology at Wroclaw University..
